Memoriam working on new studio album - due out in Summer 2019

Old-school death metal band Memoriam are currently working on the follow up to their highly acclaimed 2018 album “The Silent Vigil”.

The band recently ensconced themselves at Parlour Studios in Kettering (UK) to kick off the recordings with renowned producer, Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir, At The Gates, Amorphis etc).

Chronoform release new single “From the Void”

Finnish metal steamrollers Chronoform released a new single from their upcoming album.
 
“From the Void” is one of the heaviest songs from the same titled upcoming album. The song’s groovy main riff is blended with black metal-like chord walls and blast beats followed by calmer vibes. However, the peace is temporary as the end hits hard again.

Aphyxion to release new studio album “Void” on May 10th 2019

Once named the saviours of melodic death metal by Metal Hammer, Aphyxion are not the ones to succomb to genre definitions. This was proven by their acclaimed and succesful release, “Aftermath”, which switched between death metal and metalcore genre borders, creating something that would elevate the band to a new level.

As Ensiferum took to the stage, to the cheers of the crowd, they were decked out in their trademark face paint and bassist Sami Hinkka was even wearing a kilt! They kicked off their set with “For Those about to Fight” off of their 2017 release “Two Paths”. Wow! Right from the start they sounded great.
 

Diesear to release new studio album “BloodRed Inferno” on April 12th 2019

Entertainment One (eOne) has signed Taiwanese melodic death metal band Diesear to a worldwide record deal.

The band will release a new LP titled “BloodRed Inferno” on April 12th, 2019. “BloodRed Inferno” will be the band’s third full length and the follow up to “Ashes of the Dawn”, which was released in 2013.
