death
When darkness takes over and atmospheric, depressing sounds are echoing though the old town alleys… there’s something wicked and shady that’s entering your deepest nightmares while you’re trying throughout the day phases, Dawn, Sunrise, Morning, Afternoon, Sunset, Evening & Night, to escape these doomed, gothic, gloomy, melancholic & fated obsessions… that are controlling your mind. If there’s no way out… better give in…

Just about 2 years ago these Swedish newcomers presented their second release “Monolith” which basically opened the road and gave them more popularity. So as it is obvious those who saw a new promising band taking its first steps are/were rather anxious to hear the third work of the band, which in many cases show how the future is gonna be like.
Code666 is proud to announce the signing of the Metal band NE OBLIVISCARIS for the release of their upcoming album titled “Portal of I” , scheduled to hit stores in June 2012.
New album on the line for the Swedish extreme metalers Meshuggah. I have never understood how these guys have become so successful and most importantly… why people consider them… so special, technical and progressive musically… something that’s rather erroneous and deceptive. Moreover, does the term djent (yeap the explanation is on wiki)… offer anything new to music? Why should we use this inane term… that has no musical identity at all? Anyone can describe his music in his own words… but why should we endorse it later… especially if that description/term is absurd?!
I still remember the first steps of this band.. as I had the chance to see them at their beginning. “The Olden Domain” (1997) is a great atmospheric viking, black metal album... which is among the best releases of its music kind. Since those days the band evolved with each new step… and that is something I did like… for they didn’t wanna stay on safe waters.
Brought back to life in 2005 by assembling the scattered unburied remains of 6 Italian punks, 5 STAR GRAVE equals a middle finger straight in the face of any kind of trend or musical compromises.
Their first album entitled "Corpse Breed Syndrome" was released in 2008 and received a great feedback from both media and fans for its recklessness, freshness and strong energetic vibe.
After almost 4 years, the band is now going to release their new album "Drugstore Hell"!
Purified in Blood is now ready to unleash yet another monster; “Flight of a Dying Sun”. Their new album will be released Friday, June 15th in Europe.
Their previous album “Under Black Skies” got overwhelming critics and the band is widely known to deliver the goods live as well. If there’s one thing Purified in Blood looks forward to, it’s touring with these new, crushing songs. Destroying city after city with Norwegian metal. Purified in Blood have toured the US, Europe and Scandinavia several times and shared stages with great bands like Slayer, Mastodon, In Flames, Converge and Hatebreed, making them the experienced band they are today.
Captivated by the wonderful dim cover artwork… I was eager to listen to their music… I was hoping the music would fit the doomed, shadowy background of the artwork… and hopefully, I was pretty much nicely surprised by When Nothing Remains.
