Mortiis to release new studio album “Spirit of Rebellion” on January 24th 2020

The undisputed inventor of dungeon synth, Mortiis, has revealed the cover artwork for his forthcoming album “Spirit of Rebellion”.

The album artwork was created by French visual artist & fantasy illustrator David Thiérrée, who is also known for his work with Behemoth, Primordial, Wolves In The Throne Room.
 

Fyrhtu to release debut album “No More Days in the Light” on November 8th 2019

Oakland-based ambient-electronic folk project Fyrhtu, formed in the past year by members of Vastum, Hammers Of Misfortune, Cardinal Wyrm, and more, presents their expansive debut, “No More Days in the Light”. The newly completed album will see release on November 8th, 2019, and this week, the cover art, track listing, and a brief trailer for the album have been issued.
 

Your 33 Black Angels to release new studio album “Eternities 1” on May 7th 2019

Your 33 Black Angels (a.k.a. Y33BA) has announced their new album “Eternities 1”, which is their seventh long-play to date, to be released in early May.

GosT signs with Century Media Records and releases lyric video for new single “She Lives in Red Light”

Mortiis set to re-release “Perfectly Defect” on June 1st 2018

Mortiis' “Perfectly Defect” album which was originally released in 2010 during the European comeback tour with fellow industrial stalwarts Combochrist and has since been long out of print, will be re-issued this year in both digital & physical format, including 3 strictly limited vinyl versions.
 
When “Perfectly Defect” was first released, it was available in 2 versions - an 8 track (tour edition on CD) and an 10 track version (digital format), while the complete studio session actually contains 12 songs which will all be available on the new 2018 version.

Mortiis to release the expanded edition of “Secrets of My Kingdom” on March 10th 2018

UK based publisher Cult Never Dies recently announced the expanded edition of “Secrets of My Kingdom”, the book originally written by Norwegian visionary artist Mortiis and published in a highly limited form in 2001.
 
“Once I got over my personal hang-ups about the Era 1 material, and started reissuing portions of it, I felt that the time was right to start work on a reissue of the "Secrets Of My Kingdom" book. Cult Never Dies had approached me about a reissue a couple of years ago I believe, but I wasn't quite ready at the time”, recalls the godfather of dungeon synth.
