Sonus Corona to release new studio album “Time is not on Your Side” on November 22nd 2019

Sonus Corona is a progressive metal band from Turku, Finland. The band combines intense musical atmospheres accompanied with heavy riffs and strong melodies and relies on stellar songwriting. They say they have been heavily influenced by Haken, Toto, Tool, Dream Theater and Leprous.

The band is about to release their second studio album “Time is not on Your Side” on November 22nd, 2019. Today their eponymous single is released by Inverse Records. 

Flying Colors premiere music video for new single “The Loss Inside”

Music Theories Recordings / Mascot Label Group and Flying Colors have presented an official music video for “The Loss Inside” in front of the band’s upcoming global release of “Third Degree” on October 4th.

Singer Casey McPherson shares: “We all go through loss, and the grieving process often comes in waves, I love how musically and lyrically this song represents that process for me”.

Flying Colors launch music video for new single “You Are Not Alone”

Music Theory Recordings / Mascot Label Group and Flying Colors have announced the global release of the band’s third studio album “Third Degree” on October 4th, 2019.

“Third Degree” did not come effortlessly, nor too quickly. “It took time — but that’s the thing with Flying Colors”, Portnoy admits. “It’s very hard to get the five of us in the same room at the same time. But once we do, it flows so easily”. 

External release music video for new single “Anhedonia”

A Finland-based progressive metal act External have released a new single, “Anhedonia”. It’s their first release with guitarist Roger Lundberg, as well as the first with major songwriting contribution from bassist Samuel Järvinen.

In the mixing process External worked with Asger Mygind from the Danish band Vola. The song is accompanied by a music video by Tuomas Ikonen.
