Code666 is proud to announce the signing of the Metal band NE OBLIVISCARIS for the release of their upcoming album titled “Portal of I” , scheduled to hit stores in June 2012.

Steve Thorne is an old known fellow to Grande Rock… meaning that we had the pleasure to present this debut here back in 2005 when he was making his first steps to discography. Since then Steve has released 3 more full-length works including the latest one “Crimes & Reasons”.

Following on from the huge success of "A Grounding In Numbers", "ALT" is the new release from the legendary Van Der Graaf Generator.

Peter Hammill says: "Most of the music on ALT was made while we weren't really looking, or perhaps only while the left side of our collective brain was engaged. The album is a mixture of improvisations recorded at sound checks and in the studio and more considered sonic creations which often verge on Musique Concrete".

ALT offers a fascinating glimpse into an alternative Van der Graaf Generator sound world.
Headspace, the band around keyboardist Adam Wakeman (Ozzy Osbourne) - son of the keyboard legend Rick Wakeman (Yes) - singer Damian Wilson (Threshold), bassist Lee Pomeroy (Steve Hackett), guitarist Pete Rinaldi and drummer Richard Brook, will release their debut album "I Am Anonymous" on May 21st 2012 via InsideOut Music/ EMI.

Given the listed musical roots, it seems only logical that Headspace follow a clear direction stylistically: Progressive rock at its finest!

Jim Matheos (Fates Warning, Arch/Matheos) and Kevin Moore (Chroma Key, ex-Dream Theater) along with the drummer Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree) are back for album No.4. Keeping the three-year gab between albums, their creation “Fire Make Thunder”… is not anything new from what OSI has delivered and we have been used to… but this time the guitar work is a bit more intense.

Having been around since the mid-80s, this pro rock act from the UK… has been re-born in the 21st century by adding the new vocalist & guitarist, John Mitchell (Arena, Kino, Frost, etc.), to its ranks. John used to be a fan of the band… and now he is playing and sings for them… he is indeed a very talented guy… he has worked and played in so many albums all these years… apparently, his work in Arena has made him very well-respected.

With his previous MoonJune Records releases as a member of pioneering Indonesian fusion groups simakDialog and Tohpati Ethnomission, Tohpati Ario Hutomo served notice to connoisseurs of intelligent and adventurous guitar playing that he is a galaxy-class player of limitless instrumental ability and rare imagination. His latest CD "Riot" provides more overwhelming evidence that Tohpati is quickly taking his place alongside the world’s great guitarists in any genre.

Allan Holdsworth changed the way people play the electric guitar, both musically and physically. He is a true genius.
Joe Satriani, November 2004

In Science and Arts you can find two kinds of people: Those who work and follow the secure road in the applied field and those who break the barriers, expand the well-known paths and open new possibilities for all the others. Allan Holdsworth undoubtedly belongs to the second category, where the personal cost is very big, and only giants can handle it.
The progressive rock community around the world is on fire about legendary Flower Kings vocalist Hasse Fröberg and his group Musical Companion new album "Powerplay". Available on Reingold Records on April 23, "Powerplay" is the second album by Swedish progrockers Hasse Fröberg & Musical Companion.

About a year after the release of their critically highly acclaimed debut 'Future Past' (Sept. 2010), the band entered the studio to cut the backing tracks for "Powerplay" (April 2012). This time around, HFMC provides even harder hitting progressive rock - a must for fans of Rush, The Flower Kings and YES!
