Ainur signs with with Rockshots Records

Italy’s progressive rock/metal band Ainur, has just announced the signing of a record deal with Rockshots Records.

Inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s opus since a decade and half, Ainur are coming back with a new, majestic project later this year.

The new path was overtaken by a short trailer appeared below, showing up the band’s new look

Currently the band is located at Evolution Recording Studio (Italy), working on the new project with the producer Massimiliano Flak (Sound Storm, Highlord).

Destrage to release new studio album “The Chosen One” on May 24th 2019

After 1 week of letting fans vote on their new album name, Italy’s Destrage has announced the true title of their fifth full-length: “The Chosen One”, which will be released May 24th, 2019, via Metal Blade Records.

Scott Kay’s (Statues/Voyager) cinematic post-rock solo project Absent Hearts releases brand new single “The Bird”, complete with guitar playthrough and gear breakdown.

Originally a solo venture from Scott Kay (Voyager/Statues) known as The K. Project, Absent Hearts soon evolved with the inclusion of Dan Tompkins (ex-Tesseract/Piano) to create a unique blend of post-rock and atmospheric music. Their last collaborative album, “August Earth”, was received warmly, and created anticipation for more music in the future.
