Alter Bridge release live music video for “Words Darker Than Their Wing”

Coming on the heels of the announcement of Alter Bridge’s career-defining live release “Live at the Royal Albert Hall” featuring the Parallax Orchestra, the band is releasing another video from the live performance.

The latest track being released, “Words Darker Than Their Wing”, is a song from the band’s 2010 “ABIII” album that, until those two shows in October 2017, had never been previously performed live. The longtime crowd favorite showcases the first time that Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti share lead vocal duties, something that would be repeated on “Waters Rising” from the Fortress release.

The video for the track can be seen below.

Alter Bridge to release “Live at the Royal Albert Hall” on September 7th 2018

After 14 years performing together, five full-length studio albums, and countless sold-out shows around the globe, there aren’t many items left on a band’s bucket list.

For Alter Bridge, one of the remaining list items was crossed off in October 2017 when the band performed two sold-out shows at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall backed by the 52-piece Parallax Orchestra led by conductor Simon Dobson. Those career-defining shows were captured and combined in the upcoming Napalm Records worldwide release “Live at the Royal Albert Hall” on September 7th, 2018.

Dokken to release “Return to the East Live (2016)” on April 20th 2018

At this point, Dokken simply needs no introduction. The band cemented their status as one of the legendary hard rock/heavy metal archetypes of the ‘80s rock scene with numerous successful albums and tours, evergreen songs and music videos and a lore that will live on forever.

The tumultuous relationship between band members is well documented and need not be repeated here, but what does need to be made known is that in 2016, the classic original line-up of Don Dokken, George Lynch, Jeff Pilson, and Mick Brown reunited to play the world famous Loud Park Festival in Japan.

Labyrinth to release “Return to Live” on January 26th 2018

Labyrinth, Italy’s finest purveryors of power/prog metal, held their first reunion show at Frontiers Metal Festival in Trezzo Sull’Adda on October 30th, 2016.

The renewed lineup played “Return to Heaven Denied” in it’s entirety, for only the second time ever, their most popular record (so far). The landmark album was originally released by Metal Blade in 1998 and is considered by many to be one of the highlights of the power metal genre in the late ‘90s.
