Amon Amarth to release new studio album “Berserker” on May 3rd 2019

On May 3rd, 2019, Amon Amarth will release their 11th full-length album, “Berserker”, via Metal Blade Records (North America) / Sony Music (International).

Frontman Johan Hegg, together with Dr Chris Tuckley from the Jorvik Viking Centre in York, England, explains the legend of the “Berserker” in this short clip here.

Whitechapel launches video for new single “Hickory Creek”

On March 29th, Whitechapel will release their seventh full-length, “The Valley”, via Metal Blade Records. Mixed by David Castillo, mastered by Ted Jensen, and produced once again by Mark Lewis (Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder), “The Valley” is a reference to the part of Hardin Valley (west of Knoxville, Tennessee) where vocalist Phil Bozeman grew up.

Neolithic to release new self-titled EP on April 12th 2019

Baltimore, Maryland-based extreme metal outfit Neolithic - founded by current members of Putrisect and former members of Swarm Of The Lotus, Pulling Teeth, Old Lines, Ruiner, and more - prepares their eponymous new EP for independent release in April.

With contempt and resentment coursing through its entirety, Neolithic delivers five new tracks from the ominous quartet. The lead track “Myopia” has been posted for streaming and preorders are now available.
 

Revocation launches new video for “Vanitas”

After releasing their latest album, “The Outer Ones”, last year to critical acclaim, Revocation embarked on a headlining world tour in support of it.

During their European trek with label mates Rivers Of Nihil, the band filmed a video for the album track “Vanitas” (directed by Rivers Of Nihil’s Jonathan Topore), which can be seen below.

New York City-based death metal outfit Hypoxia - featuring members of Monstrosity, Secrecy, Castrator, Lethal Entity, and more - will release their torrential second full-length, “Abhorrent Disease”, through the extreme music merchants at Poland’s Selfmadegod Records in April. The album’s cover art, track listing, and a video for “Condemned to the Abyss” have been released.
