Germany's dark metal quintet AGATHODAIMON is currently working hard on the successor of their 2009 release "Phoenix".
They've entered the Kohlekeller Studios in February and hope to finish the recordings with producer Kristian "Kohle" Kohlmannslehner in late April.
The band's new album is entitled “In Darkness” and will be released this summer!
Here's what guitarist and vocalist Sathonys has to say about it:
Tristâme is a music project that was created by Rami in 2006. After three years they released their debut album under the title “Unraveling Horizons”. Rami, who is a Syrian born singer-songwriter, came up with the idea for this EP in November 2012, as he was working on some new music in South America.
Today, Norwegian symphonic gothic metallers SIRENIA are happy to reveal first details on their upcoming new album that will be released via Nuclear Blast on June 28, 2013!
The band’s sixth studio record was baptised “Perils Of The Deep Blue” and the tracklist of the ltd. digipak edition - including two bonus tracks - reads as follows.
01. Ducere Me In Lucem
02. Seven Widows Weep
After their long hiatus in the 00s, October Tide returned three years ago and have started working hard. This is the band’s second release since their comeback with “A Thin Shell” in 2010. Nowadays there’s also a former Katatonia member on the bass, Matthias Norrman, and a new singer, Alexander Högbom (Spasmodic, Volturyon).
The Pineapple Thief frontman, Bruce Soord and Jonas Renkse from Katatonia have announced a June 4, 2013 release date for “Wisdom of Crowds”, their new project, set to drop this spring on Kscope.
Originally written with Renkse’s voice in mind, Soord sought out the acclaimed Katatonia vocalist to complete the compositions and release the music to the masses. Despite the rigorous schedules of The Pineapple Thief and Katatonia, the two musicians were eventually able to connect and the rest is rock n’ roll history.
In a crisis that has left 70,000 plus dead, countless more injured and over one million refugees fighting to stay alive, it is imperative to find a common ground and to gather all efforts to decrease the level of suffering. The New York Based, Syrian born, singer-songwriter, Rami, via his project Tristâme, hopes his latest charity release, “Common Ground”, will inspire others to take notice of the civil war that still grips his homeland.
Were I to guess where this band comes from, I would definitely choose Scandinavia and possibly Norway. To my amazement, Csejthe are from Quebec, Canada. Obviously the guys have spent hours listening to Scandinavian black metal music and that turned out to be for their own benefit as it seems. This is the band’s sophomore release, which comes about 4 years after their debut “La Mort du Prince Noir”. Nowadays Csejthe are a three-piece band, as only, the drummer Fiel & the guitarist Strigat, who has also taken care of the vocals, have been left from the original line-up. There’s also a new guitarist, Bardunor (Crépuscule, Hiverna, Monarque), on board.
Today Keep Of Kalessin release the new digital EP “Introspection”. The EP is available on all digital music services. Get it here: iTunes, Spotify, WiMP.
“Introspection” is the first of several new EP's and singles that will be released throughout the year, in wait of the new album due in October 2013.
