Burning Gloom releases music video for first single “Nightmares”

Formely known under the flag of My Home On Trees, the well-respected stoner-doom band hailing from Milano, Italy, just recently announced the change of their band name into Burning Gloom and the worldwide signing with powerhouse label Argonauta Records. 2019 will see them celebrating their comeback with a new shining identity and sound, leaving behind the past and release their brand new album titled “Amygdala” on June 14th, which will definitely surprise and please both fans and critics alike!

Baroness, who are a month away from the release of their highly-anticipated fifth album, “Gold & Grey” (June 14th, Abraxan Hymns), share new song “Throw Me an Anchor”, as the band announces their first European trek in support of the album.

Cult Of Luna releases new single “The Silent Man”

Today (May 6th), Cult Of Luna has released a new single, “The Silent Man” - the group’s first taste of new material under their sole name since “Vertikal 1&2” (2013).

The track will also appear on Cult Of Luna’s new album, which will be released at the dawn of fall.

Alchemical Wake signs worldwide deal with Argonauta Records

Hailing from sunny Sardinia, Italy, dark sludge and doom metal unit Alchemical Wake have inked a worldwide deal with Argonauta Records, joining the label’s eclectic artist roster among bands such as Destroyer of Light, High Fighter, Mammoth Storm, Ancient Vvisdom, Komatsu and many more high class acts!

Alchemical Wake formed in 2014 and released a first EP two years later. In early 2019 the band hit the studio to record their debut album, titled “Cassiopea”, due out this year on Argonauta Records.

Abrahma releases music video for new single “Lost Forever”

In Time for the Last Rays of Light” is the third full-length from French progressive heavy rock outfit Abrahma. Set for release next month via Small Stone, the record follows three tumultuous years of personal challenges and lineup changes and is a chronicle of the ravages of coping with loss and mental illness, brought to bear with heavy and progressive songwriting, melodic catharsis, and an impact that goes beyond the material itself.
 

Slow Order releases first single “Serpent’s Son”

Since the release of their first EP “Pyramid Toward Oblivion” in 2011, the instrumental power trio, Slow Order, hailing from Bologna pursues a sound of the classic stoner rock with modern heavy metal influences. Atala to release new studio album “The Bearer of Light” on May 21st 2019

West Coast desert doom trio Atala will release their “The Bearer of Light” full-length via Salt Of The Earth Records on May 21st, 2019.
 
Returning to their DIY ethos, the seven-track desert voyage was captured and self-produced in just five days at Gatos Trail in Joshua Tree with engineer Jeff Thomas. “It’s a true roller coaster of emotions: sad, angry, confused, lost... but, you can’t help but feel hope as you follow the journey”, notes founding guitarist Kyle Stratton.
