John, The Void premiere new single “Cursed”

Moving in the dark abyss of apocalyptic sludge, post-black metal, doom and electronic sounds, the Italian five-piece power unit John, The Void, returns with their sophomore album, “III – Adversa”, on April 5th, 2019, via Argonauta Records.

Just recently, the band shared a first dark appetizer with the track “Silent Bearer”, today John, The Void are presenting another brand new single for the mind-crushing “Cursed”!

Dead Witches

So, to kick off with, where did the bad name DeadWitches come from?
 
Mark: I’ve always been interested in dead things! I’ve always been fascinated by death, and afraid of death. So, I like the word dead! I was trying to decide what word would go well with it. And obviously I’m big fan of Halloween and Witches. It just came to me, and I thought it sounded cool. And checked there were no other bands with the name of course!
 
 

1782 to release self-titled debut album on May 24th 2019

It was a cold December day in 2018, when Marco Nieddu and Gabriele Fancellu formed a doom band called 1782, in honor of all the “witches” murdered by the bigoted minds of many generations. Just a month later, the band entered the studio to record the single “She was a Witch”, released by Electric Valley Records in within the same month. Only a few days after its release, the single turned out to be a great success, especially on social media and by listeners of the genre.

YOB share Amoeba Green Room Session

YOB, who kick off a new round of North American tour dates on Tuesday, share a recently taped Amoeba Green Room session.
