Covet celebrate Halloween with “Howl” video

Covet, who are currently on the road with Polyphia, celebrate all things spooky with their newly released video for “Howl”, which can be seen below.

“"Howl" was written as one of the darker toned songs on the album”, explains guitar player Yvette Young of the Tom Flynn directed clip. “I wanted to convey a more bipolar feel when I wrote this song, and I wanted the video to reflect that and be a bit mysterious. The video is basically about the three of us occupying a spooky house and hunting each other down, with flashbacks to nicer times”.

Arena release first ever video single “Poisoned” and announce Spring 2019 UK & European Tour

British rock quintet Arena have just released their first ever video single in their 23 year long career.

The single “Poisoned” is taken from their ninth studio album “Double Vision”, released in May 2018 via Verglas Music.

The single pays homage to loved ones lost to illness - Cancer in particular.

The Neal Morse Band to release new studio album “The Great Adventure” on January 25th 2019

The Neal Morse Band - Neal Morse (lead vocals, guitars, keyboards), Mike Portnoy (drums, vocals), Randy George (bass), Bill Hubauer (keyboards, vocals), Eric Gillette (guitars, vocals) - will take fans on “The Great Adventure” with their latest double concept album due out January 25th, 2019, on Radiant Records via Metal Blade worldwide.

It will be available in three formats: a two CD package, two CD/DVD Special Edition featuring behind-the-scenes video clips of the making of the album, and three vinyl LPs. Pre-orders begin December 4th.

Exploring Birdsong releases animated video for new single “The Baptism”

New progressive trio Exploring Birdsong have released a video for their single “The Baptism”, marking one year as a band and since the first release of the track, their debut single.

Animated by Emmett Elvin of psychedelic rock band Knifeworld, the stunning new video can be seen below.

Exploring Birdsong are a unique proposition: Matt Harrison on drums, Jonny Knight on bass/second keys, and completed by Lynsey Ward on piano and vocals. Pop sensibilities and soulfully gorgeous singing meet progressive compositions, reminiscent of Iamthemorning, Steven Wilson, Kate Bush and more.

The vocalist of Izz, Laura Meade, has finally released her debut solo album. Having some prog elements here and there, the album is more laid back, atmospheric and ambient on the whole. It still maintains various pop melodies along with an acoustic character and it’s generally straightforward, especially when it is compared to the Izz’s releases.

Sleep Token have released a video for their new single “The Way That You Were”.

The track precedes the collective’s inaugural headline Ritual, which is due to take place on 11th October at London's St Pancras Old Church, with support from Exploring Birdsong.

“The Ritual” will be Sleep Token’s eleventh live appearance and sold out in just thirty seconds.
