Heavy Psych Sounds Fest in London 2019

As I entered the venue, the stairs lead straight down, I could hear the enticing rumble of drums and bass. The smoke started creeping up the stairs to meet me, as the sound grew louder. The whole room was filled with a thick haze, carrying the eerie green light through it. Creating an intriguing atmosphere of mystery and anonymity. I could barely make out the stage through the fog and people, but I could follow the near deafening sounds booming out. But, considering their name is Deadsmoke, I could hardly be surprised!

1782 to release self-titled debut album on May 24th 2019

It was a cold December day in 2018, when Marco Nieddu and Gabriele Fancellu formed a doom band called 1782, in honor of all the “witches” murdered by the bigoted minds of many generations. Just a month later, the band entered the studio to record the single “She was a Witch”, released by Electric Valley Records in within the same month. Only a few days after its release, the single turned out to be a great success, especially on social media and by listeners of the genre.

YOB share Amoeba Green Room Session

YOB, who kick off a new round of North American tour dates on Tuesday, share a recently taped Amoeba Green Room session.

The session was filmed during the band’s previous national tour and features the songs “The Lie That is Sin”, “Breathing from the Shallows”, and “Our Raw Heart”, the title track from the band’s critically-acclaimed 2018 album.

October Tide premiere new track “I, The Polluter”

Sweden’s melodic death/doom metal masters October Tide, feat. ex-Katatonia guitarists Fredrik and Mattias Norrman, premiere the first single from their upcoming, sixth studio album, “In Splendor Below”.

Hamferð to release new 12" EP “Ódn” on April 12th 2019

Faroese doomsters Hamferð will release a brand new 12" EP entitled “Ódn” on April 12th, 2019, via Metal Blade Records.

The EP will feature the previously unreleased title track on side A and a bare-bones rendition of “Deyðir varðar” on Side B, both performed live on unique occasions.

The Well share new track “Sabbah”

SundaySong release music video for new single “Firechild”

Finnish atmospheric group SundaySong has released their second single “Firechild” from upcoming album ”Signals”.
 
”Signals” has considerably darker atmosphere than the previous album and the release process has been filled with unfortunate delays. Now however we can expect the new album to be released in early autumn 2019.
 

Silver Grime release music video for “Like a Blood Red Rose”

Swedish Epic Doom metal band Silver Grime released a new music video for the track “Like a Blood Red Rose”.

The track is taken from the “Healed by the Dark” album, which was released in October 2018, by Inverse Records.
