Drahla to release full-length debut album “Useless Coordinates” on May 3rd 2019

Today, the Leeds-formed three-piece Drahla have announced their highly-anticipated debut album “Useless Coordinates” will be released via Captured Tracks on May 3rd 2019.

The band have premiered the arresting first single “Stimulus for Living” as a taster of the album along with a video.

David J to release new 7" single “Thoughts and Prayers” on April 13th 2019

The Schoolkids Records label has announced the new “Thoughts and Prayers” 7" single from David J, which will be released for Record Store Day.

This will be issued on limited edition vinyl in a run of only 500 copies. This is the first great protest song of the year, exclusively for RSD 2019.

Vaura to release new studio album “Sables” on April 26th 2019

The ever-evolving quartet Vaura follows up their 2013 album “The Missing” almost six years later with “Sables”, their most refined and contemplative release yet. Introspective and somber, “Sables” finds the band shedding most of its post-metal heaviness in favor of experiments with brooding kosmische musik and the more avant-garde elements of new wave.

Well, it’s been almost 4 years since your debut. What happened in the meantime and why did it take you so long to release your sophomore album?
 

State Of Salazar - Superhero

State Of Salazar made their breakthrough with the release of their debut “All the Way”, back in 2014. After that, it’s been about 4 years since we heard some new stuff from the band… and as the lead singer Marcus Nygren told me (read more here), there were reasons out of their hands that kept them away for such a long period.
