Tropical Fuck Storm to release new studio album “Braindrops” on August 23rd 2019

Tropical Fuck Storm, the off-kilter, avant-psych Australian outfit, release their sophomore album, “Braindrops”, on August 23rd, 2019, via Joyful Noise Recordings.

“I’ve invented fake news as a genre of music”, TFS singer/songwriter Gareth Liddiard states on the new album. “Braindrops” overflows with compelling sounds and visions that reflect the often dark and fractured reality of life on planet Earth as we hurtle toward environmental and social decay at a frighteningly rapid clip.

Tropical Fuck Storm announces August & September North American Headlining Tour

Tropical Fuck Storm, the Australian outfit Slate described as “the Mekons under assault by both Captain Beefheart’s Magic Band and a sentient PlayStation”, share a cover of Missy Elliott’s “Can’t Stop”, as the band announce a North American Summer tour, kicking off on Aug. 28 in Los Angeles.

Drahla to release full-length debut album “Useless Coordinates” on May 3rd 2019

Today, the Leeds-formed three-piece Drahla have announced their highly-anticipated debut album “Useless Coordinates” will be released via Captured Tracks on May 3rd 2019.

The band have premiered the arresting first single “Stimulus for Living” as a taster of the album along with a video.

In advance of Tropical Fuck Storm’s European tour, the band has shared a new song “The Planet of Straw Men”.

TV Smith announces Spring 2019 UK Tour

Described as “one of the most important political songwriters in the U.K”, TV Smith has announced more solo shows in the UK, as well as the return of TV Smith & The Bored Teenangers.
 
All the way from Barcelona, TV Smith’s Catalonian band The Bored Teenagers return to Britain for a short tour in Spring 2019. Although known mainly as a solo artist these days, TV still plays a small amount of gigs with a full electric band backing him. He first met them when bassist BB Quattro invited him over to Spain in 2003 for a few concerts with his punk-pop band, Suzy & Los Quattro, fronted by their dynamic female vocalist Suzy Chain.
