I remember the way promotion used to be made by all the labels about 12 years ago. They had several promo CD copies that they shared with magazines & webzines around the globe. Certainly this...

Jimi is, undoubtedly, one of the three golden AOR/melodic rock voices of all time. Let’s be clear on that. As he used to sing back in his “Vital Signs” days… “it’s the singer not the song… when it’s coming from the heart…”. Who can deny that? He can effortlessly turn a mediocre tune into a great one! And you know what, Jimi is a natural talent… either you born with that or not.

It doesn’t take too long for news to break in the music business and already the social media is beginning to buzz with details of a forthcoming tour by American melodic Rock Star Jeff Scott Soto – his first full European tour since 2009.  Although its been in the planning for months, the singer’s organisation is only now ready to release the outline of what promises to be a stunning road trip right around Europe.

Neal is the man. He’s like a legend more or less. A living one as well as a very busy one. When not touring or recording with his main band Journey, he probably finds some time to record down various ideas for some potential future releases.

Airless has just finished the recording of their fourth album entitled “Changes” to be released on 15th Febrary 2013 thru Lion Music.

The album will contain 11 tracks of genuine and melodic Hard Rock.

Danny Vaughn (Tyketto) recorded some lead vocals on the track “Changes”.

The cover artwork was handled by Felipe Machado (Blind Guardian, Rage, Rob Rock...).

What the hell is that? Somebody must be joking here… for if he does then it’s OK by me… but if they indeed sell this album to the fans then they surely doesn’t respect them at all.

I’m quite sure that the fans, weren’t expecting from Jeff to come back with a bland album of 50s/60s classics that lasts about 27 minutes! What a waste of time this one is! I still cannot understand why somebody will go that way. It’s easy to record some cover songs and go on… especially if you do not have any new material but what’s the point ofthat? Just, to show that you’re here, alive again & ready to do what?!

Not quite consistent when it comes to new releases, Tango Down are back with a new work and a new singer again! Huh, it’s been a kind of “curse” for the band… every album has a different singer… I bet someone would call it a way to break monotony up. This time the new singer is the renowned David Reece (Bangalore Choir, Accept, Sacred Child, Sircle of Silence, Stream, Gypsy Rose etc.).
