W.E.T are certainly not wet behind the ears although this is their second album. Even JSS himself might have lost count of how many albums or bands he has taken part in throughout the years! Let’s have a flashback in 2009 and recall “W.E.T” for a moment… the fortunate ones know exactly what I’m talking about, as for the rest of you who don’t… how unfortunate!
BLACK STAR RIDERS, the new band featuring THIN LIZZY members Ricky Warwick, Damon Johnson, Scott Gorham and Marco Mendoza together with drummer Jimmy DeGrasso (Alice Cooper, Megadeth), have announced “All Hell Breaks Loose” as the title of their debut album on Nuclear Blast Entertainment, which will be released in Europe on the 27th May 2013. GÜRU the Spanish Rock/Hard Rock band has finished the production of their second album entitled “White” to be released in May 2013.
The album will contain 12 tracks which you can listen to Rock, AOR, Hard Rock, ballads, amazing vocals and virtuosism guitar.
“White” was produced by the band’s guitarrist David Palau (Latin Grammy 2012, Ted Poley, Jimi Jamison).
Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the release of bluesy hard rockers Burning Rain’s third studio album, "Epic Obsession", on May 17th in Europe and May 21st in North America. Burning Rain was founded by current Whitesnake axeman Doug Aldrich together with singer Keith St. John (ex-Montrose). The line-up for the new album is rounded out by Sean McNabb on bass (ex-Quiet Riot, Dokken, House of Lords) and Mat Starr on drums (Ace Frehley). "Epic Obsession" comes after a long hiatus from the release of the band’s second album, "Pleasure to Burn", in 2000.
So as not to confuse them with the 80s Christian hard rock act with the same name, this one is more of a project of the original Ten keyboardist Ged Rylands. It all started out in his ten-year break when he, among other things, kept on writing and recording music.
Throughout the music process Ged got together with the singer David Reed Watson who also suggested getting a few known voices & musicians on the album. Hence, we have on the opener, “Dreamworld”, Matti Alfonzetti (Impera, Red White and Blues, Jagged Edge) on vocals and Neil Fraser (Ten) on lead guitar. A rather good song in the vein of Ten, but with a trite basic guitar/synth riff.

Diamond Dawn is a newcomer from Sweden that was formed in 2011. Right after, they released a demo for the song “Standing As One” and Frontiers finally added them to its roster. It’s to wonder how fast and easily they got what other bands are still tryin’ to attain even after being around for a decade or more. These guys did it all well and they are to be commended for that.
