U.K. rock quartet, Amplifier, has released a music video for "Matmos," the opening track from the band's Kscope debut, "Echo Street", out April 23. The video is streaming on the "Echo Street" mini-site at: www.kscopemusic.com/amplifier, which also features info, downloads, pre-order links, audio, live dates and a free MP3 of "Matmos".
 
I never understood why this band became so huge, in numbers of course, in such as short notice. This kinda of nu metal, metal-gay-core, alternative, modern, pissed off, gay-gressive music is not only devoid of quality but generally it has nothing to offer. Anyhow, the teenagers thought it was good and embraced it, so the band sold more than well.

In related news, it has also been announced that Katatonia is shortlisted for a Swedish Grammy award in the 'Best Metal Album' category for "Dead End Kings".

Katatonia headliners are confirmed for Montreal, Canada on April 25, Farmington, N.M. on May 22 and Los Angeles on May 27.
 
Katatonia recently announced an extensive North American tour with headliner and fellow Swedish elite, Opeth. The upcoming run, "North American Heritage Tour 2013," will conquer over 30 cities this spring beginning April 18 in Buffalo, N.Y.
