Howard Jones will embark on a nationwide UK tour on Wednesday 11th April at the O2 Academy Bristol. This will be the first time that Howard will perform his first two studio albums "Human’s Lib" and "Dream Into Action" back to back, live in their entirety, on a full-scale nationwide UK tour.

 

Human's Lib was first released on March 17th 1984. The album peaked at number 1 in the UK charts and spent 57 weeks in the top 40. The album includes the hit singles "What Is Love?", "New Song", "Pearl In The Shell" and "Hide & Seek" (the song Howard performed at Live Aid). 

 

SLASH, the iconic, Grammy-winning rock guitarist and songwriter, has revealed the cover artwork and album title for his second studio album "APOCALYPTIC LOVE". Due out May 21 (in the UK), the new album features Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators and will be released SLASH’s own label DikHayd International and distributed through Roadrunner Records in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

 

Legendary progressive, iconic, symphonic rockband "The Flower Kings", formed in 1995 by guitarist, singer, composer Roine Stolt (Transatlantic), announce their immediate return to service in 2012 after an almost 5 years well earned hiatus. 

 

The band consisting of Roine Stolt, bassplayer extraordinaire Jonas Reingold, keyboarder grand deluxe Tomas Bodin, singer & guitarist Hasse Froberg and new 26 year old Berliner dextrous drummer prodigy Felix Lehrmann, started the recording of a new album at Varispeed studios in Sweden on January 23rd.

Originally set to be released in late February via Inside Out Music, THE SAFETY FIRE's debut full-length, "Grind The Ocean", is now due out on April 9th in the UK and April 10th in North America. In regards to this release date change, the band comments:

"This is a dream come true," says Arjen. "Rutger is not only one of my favorite actors, he also starred in my all-time favorite sci-fi movie, Blade Runner." Rutger also enjoyed the collaboration with Arjen, saying "it was marvelous work, very creative."
