April 30th, 2013 will see the release of “Inner Harbor”, the newest album from long-running prog rock/doom outfit REVELATION. 

 

In existence since the mid-80's REVELATION has earned the respect of many bands and fans from all around the world and are often credited with creating the Progressive Doom Metal genre.  They've taken the very best sounds of Rush, Black Sabbath, and early Heavy Metal to create yet another masterpiece amongst a catalog of many with “Inner Harbor”.

 

UK-based dirty rock n' roll trio GRIFTER are putting the finishing touches on the follow up to their self-titled debut full-length, which was released in 2011 by Ripple Music. 

 

Promising to deliver an album full of material that has been described as "heavy as fuck," guitarist/vocalist Ollie Stygall made the following statement about the band's forthcoming record:

The awaited debut album from Italian speed metallers Hammered, "The Beginning", will be released on March 25 by italian label Punishment 18 Records.

Aspiring Finnish thrash metal youngsters LOST SOCIETY proudly present the official video clip for the song “KILL (Those Who Oppose Me)”, taken from their terrific debut album “Fast Loud Death” that will be released via Nuclear Blast on March 15, 2013!

 

The video was shot in the boys’ home town Jyväskylä together with director and Legion of the Damned front man Maurice Swinkels, who states:

Hard-hitting heavy rock animals APE MACHINE, who recently signed with RIPPLE MUSIC, have announced their March 2013 SxSW Tour. 

 

The tour comes in advance of the band's third album, "Mangled by the Machine", which is set for worldwide release on RIPPLE MUSIC later this year.

 

Dates are as follows:

3/8 - Portland, OR - The Know (w/ Sons of Huns and Bison Bison)

3/9 - Redding, CA - Bombay's (w/ Armed for Apocalypse)

U.K. heavy metal act, Cradle of Filth, has been forced to cancel its headlining North American "28 Days Closer to Hell Tour" due to U.S. immigration issues. No immediate plans to reschedule the dates have been revealed.

 

The band's management has issued the following statement about the canceled shows:

The UK punk rock trio from Birmingham, TEMPLETON PEK, has revealed the album artwork and track listing for their highly anticipated album "Signs" which will be released via Century Media Records on April 29th in Europe and April 30rd in North America!

 

The album artwork and layout was done by the band's own singer and bass player Neal Mitchell.

Bay Area thrash metal legends TESTAMENT, who are currently touring the U.S. with OVERKILL and FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, will record their show at The Paramount in Huntington, NY this Friday February the 15th for an upcoming DVD/CD release. The band is calling on their fans attending this event to make this the craziest TESTAMENT show ever caught on camera! 

 

The title-track from the last Arthemis album, "We Fight" (released in August 2012 by Off Yer Rocka Records/Cargo Records) will be the official soundtrack for the ICW event Wrestlerama, that will take place on Saturday, February 16th, 2013, at 9PM at Palazzetto dello Sport "Felice Dozio" (via Biffi 5, Saronno, Varese, Italy).

 

It will feature some of the best Italian wrestlers such as /OGM, Kobra, Lupo, Red Devil, Goran Il Barbaro, Corvo Bianco, Doblone, Gli Epici Eroi and many others. "We Fight" videoclip can be viewed below.
